Capsicum (red, yellow, green pepper) is one of the most important high value vegetable crops cultivated in the tropics. It is a source of vitamins A and C, with the red-coloured variety containing dietary fibre and is rich in antioxidants, which are essential in maintaining good health. The crop does well in hot and warm areas and can be grown in green house, under shade net or outdoor.

Ifarm360 has partnered with farmers in West Kenya to grow Capsicum for commercial gain. A market has already been guaranteed with a supply request of at least 500 tonnes per season that can be cultivated in 30 acres of land.

We need investors support to grow this crop at scale with the size of one farm unit at 500 sq metre.

Your investment covers:

• Farm preparation and management for a farm unit
• Farm inputs (seeds, organic fertiliser, etc)
• Crop insurance (multi-peril)
• Harvesting costs

Farm investors will receive updates twice a month on project status. Farm visits can be arranged for investors only.
